Dr. Allyson Berent is a staff doctor at AMC in New York City. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She completed a one year rotating small animal internship at the University of Minnesota. She then completed her internal medicine residency at the Matthew J. Ryan School Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Following her residency she did a fellowship in interventional radiology and interventional endoscopy.
Her research interests are in minimally invasive diagnostics and therapeutics including: endourology, laser lithotripsy, hepatic and biliary interventions, and intrahepatic portosystemic shunting.

Kimberly has worked as a certified veterinary technician at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for the past eleven years. In the last four years she has been dedicated to the development and support of the Interventional Radiology and Interventional Endoscopy team.
Diane is the newest member of the Interventional Radiology and Interventional Endoscopy team. She is also a certified veterinary technician that has been employed by the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for the past eleven years.
Both Kim and Diane are graduates of Harcum college.
Dr. Mayhew graduated from veterinary school in Edinburgh, Scotland. After three years in general practice he completed an internship, post-doctoral research fellowship and residency in small animal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. He became a boarded member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2005 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. His research interests include all aspects of minimally invasive surgery especially the development of new laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgical techniques to reduce complication rates and post-operative pain in small animal surgery.
